Permanova’s CSM monitors the status of the safety glass during laser machining, primarily during laser welding, surfacing, and cutting. An optical sensor measures the amount of splash on the glass and a thermal sensor monitors the amount of dust on the glass. Our CSM is reliable, compact, and easy to install and calibrate. Simply connect the two signals to the system and enter your warning and alarm levels.
A few good reasons to choose a CSM include the fact that our CSM gives you an early warning that it is necessary to change the safety glass, hours before the glass is at risk of cracking.
